Welcome!

Welcome to the up and coming center of the 3-day blogging universe!

I registered this domain not for what it will become now, but originally to help direct more traffic to our Team Kimpossible web page. Team Kimpossible is a Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day team based primarily out of Central Florida. After some thinking and some help from WordPress MU, I am going to turn http://60milewalk.com into a community blog/forum site, allowing walkers and crew of the Breast Cancer 3-day to have access to their own personal blog site and communicate using our streamlined message boards. Users will be able to register their username to create a site http://username.60milewalk.com. All I ask for is a donation to my walkers fees to help for the upcoming 3-day as I too am a walker.

With that, I will offer free sites to any survivors or current patients. I figure this is the least I can do, along with raising money for breast cancer and walking the 3-day to help the breast cancer community.

Take a look at our forums too! There are some limitations of the official 3-day message boards. For one, you have to be a registered crew/walker to have access to them. While this is a good thing in some cases, it is limiting to the exposure and interaction others can have with the 3-day community. It also prevents Google and other search engines from indexing the information so it is not easily searchable or available for others to read. Another very limiting factor of the official 3-day message boards is the fact they are not set up to notify you when somebody replies to one of your posts/topics. You have to remember to go back and check your post to see if somebody commented on it. This in my opinion renders the message boards practically useless and is the primary motivation for adding the forums to this site.

So spread the word! Tell all your friends! Sign up for your own personalized username before it’s taken!
